Managing Disease with Genomics Approaches

The proper management of tree diseases begins with a proper diagnosis. The TAIGA project (Tree Aggressor Identification using Genomics Approaches) harnessed the power of genomics to identify the causal agents of tree diseases and tailor management. Working with municipalities, parks, and provincial and federal agencies we developed powerful tools that make it possible to rapidly and accurately identify and map the causal agents of tree mortality.
